Nuri learns about Carriages

One of the things I love about having Kendra work for me is that she is always coming up with something interesting to do with the young horses in training.  Now some of that may be so she can be with her own horse while she is training, but since I promote social learning situations for horses, that is fine with me!  So here’s a video short of her yesterday ponying Nuri while carriage driving her own horse Borrego (who is relatively new to carriage driving).  She spent a good long time preparing both horses for this event, making sure she had connection with her own horse, respect of space with Nuri and enough tools in place to execute and emergency plan if needed.  She makes this look easy, and for her it was -due to all the preparation she has put into this.  It is great exposure and interesting for both horses.  Enjoy!
